Volunteer
Deacon Gay Romack is the spiritual leader of these transformative
ministries. There are three inter-related program.
- Prison Ministry is a St. Peter's Episcopal Church led
program for incarcerated women who have decided to become the best
loving human beings they can be regardless of circumstances.
- Reentry Ministry is also a St. Peter's Episcopal Church
led program that meets and serves Prison Ministry alumni when they
are released from prison.
- Bridges Reentry, Inc. is a survivor led program of
housing, healing, recovery and sustainable economic empowerment
for women who have experienced incarceration.
Volunteers make all three programs viable. However, there are
Legal Barriers that may seem unreasonable, but are necessary
and essential, make it illegal for volunteers who serve
inside the walls with the Prison Ministry to communicate with persons
released from prison whom they met inside once they have been
released from prison.
Choose the ministry in which you
can best serve
knowing legal restrictions apply.
