John L. Bradley, Retired

Education: Ph.D. in Education, M.S. in Technical & Industrial Education, Southern Illinois University @ Carbondale,
B.S. in Agricultural Industries, University of Illinois @ Urbana

Biography: Married to Marylyn Patton Bradley the 2014 Estrella Mountain Community College Distinguished
Woman of the Year. For more than 45 years I've had the freedom to devote my life to making student dreams come

I joined Estrella Mountain Community College in August 1992. Prior to that I was co-creator of the flexible
Associate of Applied Science in Organizational Management (AAS) Degree program. This degree works for a
manager or owner who needs the freedom to create a customized program that meets his or her personal career
development needs. Anyone graduating with this degree will have been taught how to make logical decisions and
exposed to all skills the federal government considers essential to career success.

According to the 2010 census one-third of all adult Americans owns a baccalaureate degree. Many management
positions are reserved for persons with that credential. Graduates with an AAS in Organizational Management can
transfer to Northern Arizona University as a senior and cost-effectively complete a baccalaureate and master's
degree without leaving their family, jobs or Southwest Valley homes.
