  • GBS151 Introduction to business teaches how to be a college student, how to make good career decisions, how American business works and how to find and land a good career-field position.
  • CIS105 Survey of computer information systems teaches how to use computers to write, create financial and numerical spreadsheets, track and personalize information about customers, use the Internet and make powerful presentations.
  • MGT251 Human relations in business teaches teamwork, leading, negotiating, and working in harmony with others in the evolving organizational setting.
  • GBS233 Business communication teaches how to acquire and use power to influence decisions, solve problems, be a leader, and find and land a good career- field position.
  • MGT101 Techniques of supervision teaches how to legally lead a diverse team as needed to accomplish organizational goals.
  • MGT175 Business organization and management teaches how to organize and operate an organization as needed to cost-effectively meet customer needs.
Complete all six courses to earn a
Certificate in Organizational Leadership.
Many graduates use what they learn in these courses, and being a college student, to complete a college degree and advance within the organization where originally employed. Other graduates move into front-line management positions in other organizations.
