Involvement Instead of Surveilance

Employees resent surveilance because it implies
they can not be trusted.

--Know what each employee is doing by maintaining
___active involvement in his or her work.
--Offer help. Ask specific questions about how
___processes might be improved.
--Adjust involvement based on the employee's maturity
___and the job being done.

delegated; responsibility
can not.

    responsible for everything
    that happens.
  2. A manager is expected to
    know what every employee
    is doing at all times.

Involvement works better
than surveilance.
