Temperature affects Gas

Formation of Contrails

Hotter air can carry more
water vapor than colder air.

Jet engines compress air which
heats it up and squirts it out
the back.

Water vapor may be picked up
on heating, only for it to form
droplets as the air cools.

The streak across the Russian sky
was a contrail created by the
meteror as it burned up in
the earth's atmosphere.
